DON’T WAIT UNTIL IT’S TOO LATE!
WHAT ARE LAYOUT REVIEWS?
Budgets don’t always allow for an architect or Interior designer to be across all parts of the project. I get it.
But, what often happens is; The client doesn’t start thinking about the furniture and joinery going in until later on in the build. Then suddenly the issues start popping up; “We can’t fit a full row of kitchen units here because of that door way placement” or “The bedroom has a really odd layout, I wish we’d done X instead”.
That’s where I come in! Have your layout critically reviewed by me and spot the issues whilst they can still be resolved.
WHO’S IT FOR?
A Layout Review. Is for someone who already has plans drawn of their renovation and either feels something is not quite working or wants someone to do a full furniture layout for them and make tweaks.
The build preferably won’t be underway yet or in the VERY early stages.
WHO’S ISN’T IT FOR?
Someone who hasn’t got any plans drawn up by an architect.
Someone who isn’t making any structural changes.
WHAT’S INCLUDED?
I start by asking you to send in your plans and fill in a questionnaire about what you feel is and isn’t working.
We then have a short video call to discuss this.
I then go away and drop furniture into your plans and then work on any problems areas.
We then have a call for me to present the solutions to you.
WHAT DO I NEED TO DO?
You will need to send in your plans along with the DWG file (ask your architect for this)* and as many photos as you can.
Then fill in a questionnaire about your project.
*don’t worry if you can’t get a DWG file I can trace your plans for an additional charge
WHAT’S THE INVESTMENT?
£600 for a standard layout review. It is common that I will save the client this with one review. Either through a cost saving spotting a potential problem.
ARE THERE ANY ADDITIONAL COSTS?
Not for a standard review. If your layout is overly complicated and needs additional time I will let you know when you initially send your plans over if there are additional costs.
I can also, update the drawing pack with my changes for you if required. Or I can supply the DWG to your architect.
